The advanced master's degree in applied environmental sciences is designed as a part-time distance learning course . It is aimed at specialists from authorities, associations, industry, consulting firms and engineering offices. Scientists and engineers, in particular, are admitted, but also graduates from other disciplines and qualified persons with professional training in the natural sciences or technical field (e.g. technicians, laboratory assistants, industrial foremen, etc.), provided they have relevant professional experience.
The aim of the course is to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in environmentally relevant scientific, technical, jurisprudential and economic topics that enable application-oriented work in the environmental field. The distance learning course provides specialists and executives in the environmental sector with an interdisciplinary perspective on environmental problems and environmental issues and promotes analytical thinking and conceptual work.
