  • If the focus is on molecular biology and genetics, laboratories in non-university research institutions in the field of plant breeding, food research, pharmacy, etc. are a labor market. In addition, biologists work in quality management, sales and marketing (e.g. biotech or pharmaceutical companies), science journalism, public relations, editing and much more. Depending on the further qualifications, it is also possible to work as an expert or patent attorney.
