Drama training will begin with the learning of interior or exterior technical elements in order to lead to the creation of a scenic image. Student actors will begin the year by acquiring fundamental skills: the spirit of observation, memory, imagination, orientation, concentration, etc. Over the months, Acting students will acquire more complex skills, starting to sketch their characters and write their own scenes, to develop their creative power and assert their artistic personality.

  • The discipline of dance is a work on the body, the rhythm. It allows you to learn the vibration of movements, the accuracy of the movement, and the expression of emotion. During these courses, the students of the Acting sector will learn to dance in pairs, to understand the importance and the attention to be paid to the partner, a key notion in dance as in theater. Dance exercises (waltz, tango, period dance) are carried out in partnership with students from the directing sector, as part of filming exercises.
  • If the parts of the capes and épée are much less present on the stage and even in the cinema, this teaching is key in the curriculum of the Acting training.
  • These courses will be an opportunity for student actors to work on the body, dress, nobility of gesture, coordination of movements, courage. From February, the students of the Acting branch of 3iS will take part in shootings of combat exercises with the directors.
