  • The School of Nursing offers BSc in nursing. The program has two specializations or sub-courses under it:
  • Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program:
  • The NCBNP is offered collaboratively between UNBC, the College of New Caledonia (CNC), and Northwest Community College (NWCC)
  • Post-Diploma Baccalaureate Nursing Program:
  • This program is organized to expand and update knowledge and skills for the students seeking nursing education
  • The integrated program of studies leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), awarded by UNBC. Graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and to apply for registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
  • The NCBNP is a practice-based curriculum. Learning experiences take place in the classroom, community, laboratory, and in clinical settings promoting the integration of theoretical knowledge into practice. Students will have the opportunity to learn from expert practitioners.
