  • Master of Business Administration

  • Internationalization is no longer simply about conquering international markets: it has become an issue for all corporate functions and involves major managerial changes. Offered entirely in English, the MBA Global Business provides senior managers with training in both general administration and more specialized international business management.
  • This practice-oriented MBA program covers all corporate functions: accounting, finance, organizational behaviour, marketing, operations and information systems. It provides participants with distinctive international management skills. You will thus be prepared to design and implement a complex and socially responsible project on the international market. To graduate with this degree, you must acquire at least 60% of the English-language contributory course credits, namely 27 out of 45 credits.

  • Distance learning: some of our courses can be taken online, which will help you balance your studies with the other aspects of your life.
  • Courses given in English: the perfect opportunity to improve your language skills.
  • Full-time or part-time: complete the program at your own pace.
  • Overall, the MBA and M.Sc. (without dissertation) programs at the Faculty of Business Administration aim to expand your knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills so as to increase your ability to make complex business decisions. In addition to helping you develop your managerial skills, they prepare you to operate in a context of globalization. The programs also provide you with the knowledge and skills to become an ethical and socially responsible manager with solid leadership and communication skills.

Entry Requirement

  • Applicant must have a Bachelor degree.

Application Process

  • Candidates who have studied in a language other than French must provide, as part of the graduation requirements, proof of their French-language proficiency level.

Non-Francophone applicants (who have completed their elementary and secondary education in a language other than French) must submit proof of minimal French-language proficiency by passing:

  • the Test de connaissance du français tout public with:
    • a score of at least 300 out of 699 on the compulsory tests (TCF-TP)
  • AND

  • a score at least 2 out of 20 on the written expression test (TCF-TP/EÉ)
  • OR

  • the course titled FLE-2114 Langue orale et écrite (intermédiaire) (or another course deemed equivalent) with a minimum grade of C
  • Students who do not obtain the required result must do whatever is necessary to satisfy the minimum requirement before graduation. Thus, depending on the result, an applicant may have to take one or more French courses. It should be noted that any language courses taken are non-contributory to the program.

Applicants do not have to provide proof of French-language proficiency if they meet any of the following conditions:

  • they completed their elementary and secondary education in French
  • they received a Québec diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) in French and passed   the épreuve uniforme de français
  • they received a university degree from a French-language institution
  • If in doubt, the program directorate may ask a student to take a language test.

Provided they include a written expression component, results from other tests may be considered. These include the TFI (Test de français international), the TEF (Test d'évaluation en français) or the DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française).

In all cases, the test must have been successfully completed within the previous 2 years and the results must be submitted to the program directorate. Students must also have acquired at least 60% of the contributory credits in English to receive their degree (27 credits out of a total of 45).
