SNAP 2015: Exam format to remain the same

The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common written test for the admission to all the post-graduate institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. On the basis of the score obtained in the test, the candidates are shortlisted for admissions to the MBA programme in 14 Symbiosis B-Schools.

Earlier there were speculations, that the exam pattern of SNAP will be going a major change as the paper pen based exam will be changed to computer based test. But the candidates should note that it will remain the same for the time being.

The admit cards will be available on the official website from the first week of December. The results for the same will be declared on January 31, 2016.

The reason for bringing about a change in the format is that most of the exams conducted in India are now becoming computerised for convenience. But the thought that candidates tend to make more mistakes in computer based exams such as data interpretation questions, as compared to the paper based test, did not let the plan to be executed.

So till the time the online pattern of exam is not approved, SNAP will remain paper-pen based only.

Chancellor's Scholarships

Chancellor's Scholarships

Mission and History

Chancellor Joe B. Wyatt initiated the Chancellor's Scholars in 1985 to recognize students with outstanding leadership, strength of character, academic achievement, and a deep-seated commitment to diversity and social justice. Chancellor's Scholars have worked to build strong high school communities by bridging gaps among economically, socially, and racially diverse groups and have demonstrated significant interest in issues of diversity education, tolerance, and social justice. Chancellor's Scholars are expected to build upon these earlier commitments through continued active engagement in academic and leadership opportunities at Vanderbilt. The program is funded with gifts from alumni, faculty, staff, students, corporations, and friends.

Scholarship Benefits

Chancellor's Scholars receive full tuition, plus a one-time summer stipend for study abroad, a research or service project, and/or an immersive experience following the sophomore or junior year. Vanderbilt will provide additional need-based financial aid to those Chancellor's Scholarship recipients whose demonstrated financial need exceeds the amount of full tuition. Scholarships are renewed each year as long as the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 GPA
