The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a written test for admission to all the post-graduate institutes of Symbiosis International University. On the base of the score obtained in the test, the aspirants are qualified for admissions to the MBA programme in 14 Symbiosis is B-Schools.

The Symbiosis International University (SIU) will set the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) on 20th December.

The processes of registration for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test has begun on 24th August and will accomplish on 24th November. The admit cards will be available on the official website from starting of December. The results for SNAP will be declared on January 31, 2016.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

The candidates that are interested should have done their graduation in any persuasion with minimum 50 per cent marks from a recognised institute or university.

Paper pattern

There will be a total of 150 questions based on four sections, General English, namely, Quantitative, Data Sufficiency, General Awareness, Data Interpretation, Analytical and Logical Reasoning.

How to apply

The qualified aspirants have to register through the official website www.snaptest.org. The contenders will have to create a SNAP ID, in order to complete the registering.

Important dates

Last date to apply:  24th November

Date of exam: 20th December

Result: 11th January, 2016

The Morris Scholarship

This scholarship was established by the late Stephen Rupert (Sandy) Morris, and endowed by his son, Dr. Ian Morris, to honour his father's memory. Rupert was a sergeant in the 23rd Field Company of the Royal Canadian Engineers. This company of combat engineers saw action in Europe during WWII. Rupert served with the 23rd in Europe and survived the war. He returned to Newfoundland where he took over the family business and lived into his eighties. He never forgot that he had been a sapper. Valued at a portion of the income on the endowment, it will be awarded annually to a student in Term 3 at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science who meets the minimum academic requirements for a scholarship as defined by Memorial University of Newfoundland, with preference given to financial need. This scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

These scholarships valued at approximately $2,500.00 each annually, are the result of an endowment to The Opportunity Fund by the Churchill Falls (Labrador) Corporation Limited. They will be awarded to second year students or beyond entering the Faculty of Science. The scholarships will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards on the basis of scholarship standing and a recommendation from the Dean, Faculty of Science. All else being equal, preference will be given to students from Labrador.

Description: The CCOHS Council of Governors established this scholarship fund in 2002 in the memory of Dick Martin, a tireless health and safety advocate and a pioneer of workplace health and safety in Canada. Awarded annually, this $3,000 national scholarship is available to any student enrolled, either full-time or part-time, in an occupational health and safety related course or program leading to an occupational health and safety certificate, diploma or degree at an accredited college or university in Canada. Programs include mine safety, occupational or industrial health and safety, industrial hygiene, safety management or other related safety degree program.

$3000 each to University Student and 

$3000 to winning college student

Scholarship Open for International Students: Canadian and International students currently enrolled in Canada can apply for this college scholarship.

Application Process: All submissions must include a completed online application form, cover letter and essay (applicants will be evaluated based on the submission and completion of all three documents).

Selection Criteria: A Selection Committee will score the applications based on the following criteria: Completed application form, which includes information, one page cover letter and 1,000-1,200 word essay. Essays will be judged on the intellectual content, the practical and theoretical value and the presentation and style.
