Alliance University admissions 2016: Apply for MBA course

Alliance University, Bangalore has declared an admission notice, welcoming eligible, interested candidates to apply for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered at Alliance School of Business, for the academic session 2017. The term of the programme will be of two years.

 

 

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

For apply interested candidates must acquired Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45 per cent for SC/ST) aggregate from the well-known university.

Candidates should have a high score in GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/AMAT.

Selection procedure:

The candidates will be chosen on the basis of Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT), essay writing, extempore presentation and personal interview.

The admission is entirely based on merit. The school also uses other parameters, for example, academic and extracurricular record and work experience for admission.

How to apply:

Interested, eligible candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus for the Master of Business Administration course from the office of admission on payment of Rs 1,000(Rs 2,000 for NRI and SAARC national applicants and US$50 for other foreign national applicants) in cash or through demand draft drawn in favour of "ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY" payable at Bengaluru.

The candidates are then required to submit their filled in application form along with other important documents to 'Office of Admissions, Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, Chikkahagade Cross, Chandapura-Anekal Main Road, Anekal, Bengaluru - 562106, Karnataka, India.'

Important date

The last date to apply is 25th August 25.

The selection process for the admissions will take place on 27th August.

Through the generosity of Richard A. Burke, former president of Trek Corp. and a 1956 graduate of Marquette's College of Business Administration, Marquette is pleased to offer the Burke Scholarship, a four-year, full-tuition scholarship to Marquette.


This program recognizes, honors and encourages lifetime development of a humanitarian ethic manifested in a commitment to serve others. It is awarded annually to 10 academically talented Wisconsin high school seniors who exhibit leadership in a manner that reflects exceptional commitment to community.

 

Award winners participate in extracurricular activities sponsored by the program, as well as special academic programs focusing on the spirit of Jesuit education and service to others. The Burke Scholarship Program culminates in the recipients' commitment to make substantial service to others a part of their lives after graduation.

 

 

Scholaship recipients may also receive a stipend for living expenses. Eligibility for and the amount of the stipend depend upon student need as determined by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

 

The Burke Scholarship is renewable each semester of a recipient's four-year (eight-semester) undergraduate program provided the recipient maintains a 3.0/B GPA, completes 300 hours of meaningful service each academic year, lives on campus during the first two years of the program and files the FAFSA each year. The McDonough School of Business awards scholarships based an applicant's academic, personal, and professional accomplishments. Recipients will demonstrate ethical leadership, academic accomplishment, and professional achievements through their application and interview for the MBA program. They typically show a commitment to service to others through past and current activities.

All Georgetown MBA Program applicants automatically are considered for a merit-based scholarship and do not need to submit any additional materials to be considered.
