Alliance University admissions 2016: Apply for MBA course

Alliance University, Bangalore has declared an admission notice, welcoming eligible, interested candidates to apply for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program offered at Alliance School of Business, for the academic session 2017. The term of the programme will be of two years.

 

 

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification:

For apply interested candidates must acquired Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45 per cent for SC/ST) aggregate from the well-known university.

Candidates should have a high score in GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ NMAT by GMAC/AMAT.

Selection procedure:

The candidates will be chosen on the basis of Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT), essay writing, extempore presentation and personal interview.

The admission is entirely based on merit. The school also uses other parameters, for example, academic and extracurricular record and work experience for admission.

How to apply:

Interested, eligible candidates can obtain the application form and prospectus for the Master of Business Administration course from the office of admission on payment of Rs 1,000(Rs 2,000 for NRI and SAARC national applicants and US$50 for other foreign national applicants) in cash or through demand draft drawn in favour of "ALLIANCE UNIVERSITY" payable at Bengaluru.

The candidates are then required to submit their filled in application form along with other important documents to 'Office of Admissions, Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, Chikkahagade Cross, Chandapura-Anekal Main Road, Anekal, Bengaluru - 562106, Karnataka, India.'

Important date

The last date to apply is 25th August 25.

The selection process for the admissions will take place on 27th August.

The Kiewit Offshore Services Award

These awards, valued at $1000 each for two students are offered annually by Kiewit Offshore Services (KOS). Each award also includes the possibility for the recipient to complete one or more work terms with this well-renowned general contracting company. The eligible candidates should have completed, as a minimum, their Term 4 in Naval, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with good scholarship standing and have demonstrated a strong interest to work in the construction industry during their previous work terms, preferably with the Kiewit Group. Factors to be taken into account include character qualities, team spirit, personal initiative, leadership, reliability and mobility. Financial need may also be a consideration. This scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards upon the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences with the appropriate input from the Chairpersons and Faculty acting on the advice of a special selection committee of the Kiewit Group.
