2. Jagiellonian University

Central Europe’s second oldest University, Jagiellonian is another one of the public universities. The University currently sits on the rank 411, and it was established back in 1364, over 655 years ago. There are more than 150 student societies on the campus in which students can partake with similar minds.

3. Poznan University of Technology

It was officially established in 1955, however, the state school in Poznan existed long before that in 1919. The faculty of Computer science at Poznan University of Technology is renowned for many of its students securing the job at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. The other faculties include mechanical and electrical engineering, technical physics, and chemical technology.

4. Warsaw University of Technology

The largest engineering University of Poland, the Warsaw University of Technology is the school of Engineering and applied sciences. There are more than thirty thousand students studying at Warsaw University of Technology, and the academic staff is made of two thousand members. Nine faculties at Warsaw University of Technology have English taught courses for the international students willing to study in Poland.

5. AGH University of Science and Technology

Another University with its concentration on Engineering and Technology, AGH is considered one of the best technical universities in Poland. There are 16 faculties of engineering and applied sciences, with faculties like computer science, telecommunications and electronics, geology, Mechanical Engineering, and Robotics. There is also a faculty of humanities in the AGH University of Science and Technology.

6.  Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań

Adam Mickiewicz has more than 39000 students studying in the university and represents 55 major fields of study. There are 800 international students at Adam Mickiewicz University. There are four Nobel Prize winners from the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan.

7. Cracow University of Technology

Cracow University of Technology was established in 1946, and it has core branches of engineering as the faculties like architecture, electrical and computer engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. In 2008, it was ranked the best Polish Technical University by Newsweek Poland edition.

8. University of Gdansk

With more than 27000 students studying at the five levels of education, the University of Gdansk is one of the largest universities in Poland’s northern region of Pomerania. The University was established in 1970. It is one of the public Universities in Poland with high research output and has been featured in the top Universities list over the years. Another thing the university is known for is the studies in the Kashubian language native to the place.

9. Lodz University of Technology

Established in 1945, the Lodz University of Technology is one of the largest universities in Poland. It is located in more than 200000 sq. meters and 70 buildings. The concentration of the University is again on the core sciences and the core engineering branches. The University offers numbers of courses across all the faculties in English for international students. There is also a foreign language learning center under the Lodz University of Technology.

10. Nicolaus Copernicus University

Among the 17 faculties in Nicolaus Copernicus University, three of them are medical faculties. Poland is actually known for its medical studies. The University is known for the research output and research facilities. The research facilities include National Laboratory of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics (FAMO), the Center for Quantum Optics and the Interdisciplinary Center for Modern Technologies.
