The NID (National Institute of Design) was came into existence in the year 1961. This institution has three campuses located in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru. This institution offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of design. Students will get admission in NID on the basis of Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims and Mains. NID 2017 Admit Card
The NID 2017 Admit Card is available from 20th December 2016. Candidates can download their admit card through the website by entering their login details. The admit card will contain information such as candidates name & roll number, exam center, exam date & timing, etc. It is mandatory to bring the admit card at the examination venue.
NID 2017 Application Form
Candidates can fill and submit the NID 2017 Application Form via online mode.
The last date to submit the application form was 2nd December 2016 (with late fee).
Candidates are suggested to go through the information booklet before filling the application form.
Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of photograph & signature in the prescribed specifications.

For undergraduate courses:
The maximum age limit is 20 years of age. There will be relaxation of three years for reserved category candidates.
Candidates must have passed or appearing in 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
NID Exam Pattern
Papers: The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be of only one question paper.
Duration: Total three hours will be given to students to solve the question paper.
Language: The question paper will be in English language.
Type: The question paper will comprises of objective and subjective type questions.
Marks: The question paper will contain total 100 marks.
The studio test will be conducted in English language and it will contain total 100 marks.
Interview: Studio test will be followed by the personal interview rounds.
