ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test popularly known as IBSAT is the entrance test held by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad. It is the prominent University level exam conducted at postgraduate level. It is organized for admission in the MBA/PGPM programs offered by different ICFAI business schools. It is an online computer based management aptitude test for 2 hours having multiple choice questions conducted at 100 test centers across the country.

IBSAT is additionally outstanding with the name of ICFAI Aptitude Test. The admission through this entrance examination is given at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune campuses. Through IBSAT 2017, applicants can get admission in the academic year 2018-2019. IBSAT 2017 Application Form has been released. Eligibility

Candidates need to fulfill eligibility under any conditions to be permitted to write the IBSAT Exam.

Even if one of the eligibility criteria is not fulfilled, the applicant won't be qualified to write the IBSAT Exam. Eligible applicants can fill the application form for IBSAT exam.

In order to fulfill the IBSAT eligibility for appearing in the IBSAT 2017 exam you have to-

  • Have a recognized bachelor’s degree of three years wherein you must have got 50 percent marks to fulfill IBSAT qualification.
  • Have a recognized Master's degree of two years wherein you probably got 60 percent marks to fulfill IBSAT eligibility. The subjects are Commerce, Mathematics, Management, Psychology, Management, Economics, Stats, Sociology, Public Administration as well as allied subjects.
  • The individuals who have a professional qualification, for example, CA, CS, CFA or CWA with 60 percent plus marks are also qualified for IBSAT 2017.
  • The medium of study should be English for the applicant to be qualified to apply for IBSAT. If this is not the case, the applicant should give the score to NELT, IELTS or TOEFL by May 2017.
  • Aspirants appearing in the graduation last year also are qualified for IBSAT Exam. The mark sheets and documents for the same must be given by November 2017 at the most.
  • The applicant should have finished 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern of education.
  • The individuals who have part or part time or correspondence degrees are not qualified to apply for IBSAT.

Exam Pattern

  • Type: Consist of 120 objective type questions with 5 choices for every question.
  • Marks: Total marks are 12o.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given to right answer.
  • Subjects: There will be four subjects like; English Usage, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Sufficiency.
  • Language: The medium of the question paper will be English only.
  • Duration: The total duration of 2 hours will be provided to answer the questions.
  • Negative: There is no negative marking.

Marking Scheme:

The applicants will be credited with one mark for each correct answer. No marks will be deducted for wrong answer so all the candidates are suggested to attempt all the questions carefully without leaving a single question un-attempted.
