How to Register?

All the candidates should firstly check whether they are qualified to apply for the test or not. Meeting the qualification standards is very important as non-fulfillment of the same can lead to disqualification at later phase of admission. The CMAT 2017 applicants must continue with the CMAT registration only after guaranteeing that they are qualified to write the test.
CMAT Registration Process 2017
Presently, after ensuring that you meet the qualification criteria, next thing required to be done is to organize all the documents and different things which will be required while registering for the test.

Requirements for filling the CMAT 2017 Application Form:

  • Collect all your education certificates and mark sheets. Note down your marks of class 10, 12 and graduation etc.
  • Scan a recent photo of yours, which should have a white background. The size of this photograph should be 140 x 160 and should be under 60Kb.
  • Sign on a white paper and scan them. The size of this signature should be 60 x 90 and should be under 30Kb.
  • You should have a valid email id. All communication will be done on this email id only so you should guarantee that this id remains active at least for 6 to 8 months.
  • A valid mobile number as all data through sms will be sent to this number.
  • A valid Credit/Debit card if you wish to pay the application fee in online mode.
  • If you wish to pay the application fee in offline mode then arrange for a printer, which should be connected with your system. You will be required to print 3 copies of challan.

How to register for CMAT 2017? – Step by Step Guide
Step 1
To begin with the registration, the applicants must get to the "New Registration" tab on the official website. Read all the directions carefully and agree to the declaration to continue further with the enlistment procedure.
Step 2
On accepting the declaration, the applicants will be directed to "New User Registration" form. The candidates are required to fill some fundamental details on this page, for example,

  • Name
  • Parent's name
  • Date of birth
  • Category
  • Gender
  • Religion
  • Physical Disability
  • Email ID
  • Mobile Number
  • Other as said

Review all these details and submit the same.
Also, here on this page, the applicants will be required to fill 3 test cities. The CMAT Test Cities 2017 should be filled in the order of preference.

On submission of these details, a unique 6 digit password will be produced. This password will be shown on the screen and will also     be sent to the applicants by means of E-mail and SMS. Using this password and the email id, the applicants will be able to login to their individual student account by accessing the ‘Existing User' tab.

Step 3
Next, the applicants are required to pay the application fee. They should pick the fee payment mode and continue encourage with the payment accordingly.

CMAT Registration Fee and its installment
The applicants can opt on the method of fee payment according to their convinience. On making the payment, the aspirants will get an email and SMS confirming that that the payment information has got updated in the registration portal. Thereafter. The applicants are required to login to the registration portal and fill the left-over details in the application form.

Depositing cash at any of the SBI branch on next day of the generation of challan

Note – Application fee cannot be paid through Demand Draft or Cheque

Note for the applicants choosing to pay the fee in cash

  • You are required to take 3 print outs of the challan, fill in the details in all the copies, and deposit the money at nearest SBI bank branch on the next day of genration of challan. The cash deposit will be accepted only the next day of the challan generation.
  • In return to the cash deposit, the bank will give one copy of challan with their stamp and a journal number written on it. Guarantee that the journal number written is clearly visible.
  • In 48 hours, the payment status will get updated in the registration portal.

Step 4
After paying the application fee, login with your email id and password to continue further to fill the application form. Now, upload your passport size photograph and signature according to prescribed size. Also, fill your postal address here on this page.

Step 5
After uploading the required enclosures, fill in your qualification details very carefully. Tap on "Save and Next" to continue further.

Step 6
This is the last step of the registration procedure. Here, the candidates will be able to review the filled form and can alter the same if necessary. They can tap on "View/Modify" to make changes in form. Alter the details if required and review the form carefully. Lastly, agree to the last declaration and with that the registration will finish.
Do take few prints from the submitted CMAT Application Form 2017 and keep it with you for future reference.
