BITSAT is your gateway to admissions in the three BITS campuses i.e. BITS Pilani Campus, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, and the Hyderabad Campus. The Cutoff of BITSAT 2017 is the minimum score that the examinees if BITSAT 2017 need to secure in order to become qualified for taking part in BITSAT 2017 counselling. The college prepares a merit list of applicant’s basis BITSAT Cutoff 2017 for shortlisting applicants for counselling of BITSAT 2017. The cutoff of BITSAT 2017 will be determined by different aspects like the quantity of candidates, the number of seats and difficulty level of the entrance test, etc. BITSAT 2017 cutoff score will change from course to course and campus to campus. The cutoff of BITSAT 2016 is given below for the reference of the candidates.

BITSAT 2017 admit list is released for those candidates who have been shortlisted for appearing in the counselling in Iteration I. Interested candidates have to submit an admission application form for admission. The seat allotment result of the counselling process is announced in the form of Iteration I, II, II, and so on. In 2016, BITS had announced seat allotment result till Iteration V.

BITSAT is your gateway to admissions in the three BITS campuses i.e. BITS Pilani Campus, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, and the Hyderabad Campus. Held during the month of May every year, this prestigious BITSAT examination is conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The scores of BITSAT 2017 are now available from May 19. The BITSAT Slot Booking 2017 was available from March 20 to April 5. The application form of BITSAT 2017 is now over, which was available from December 29, 2016. Candidates were able to fill the application form along with fee payment till March 10, 2017. Candidates can download the revised hallticket for May 30, 2017 now. The correction facility was also available for all registered applicants from March 7 to March 10, 2017 (Midnight). The facility to find the application number of the registered applicant is now open.

From May 16 to 30, the exam is being conducted in two slots daily, wherein the first slot is from 9 am to 12 pm and the second slot is from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates can opt for any one slot out of the two based on the availability.

Eligibility

 

  • Applicants must have passed 12th or equivalent exam (from any state or central board) with 75% total marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology. They also should have scored 60% marks separately in each of the three subjects. Proficiency in English is another prerequisite to apply for BITSAT 2017.
  • Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or earlier are not eligible to apply for BITSAT 2017.
  • Candidates aspiring to take admission in B. Tech and B. Pharm. must have passed 12th with Maths and Biology respectively.
  • If you have attempted the class 12 examination more than once then, you will be ranked according to your latest performance.
  • Students already studying in any of the BITS campuses will not be allowed to take BITSAT 2017 again.
  • Top rankers or applicants with Rank 1 in the central or state boards in India will be offered admissions to the programs of their choice, irrespective of their score/rank in BITSAT 2017, but they must meet the Eligibility Criteria as mentioned earlier.

The exam pattern of BITSAT 2017 states about various features of the entrance exam like marking scheme, type of questions, time duration, total number of questions, subjects, sections, etc.

Marking Scheme:

 Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks, while every incorrect answer will fetch -1 mark or 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. For unattempt questions, the examinees will be given no marks or zero marks.
