Few Months are remaining for XAT 2018. XAT 2018 will be conducted on 7th January 2018. It is an online exam of 210 minutes. There are 3 sections in paper1 and 2 sections in paper2. Gavin Teague Memorial Scholarship

If you are a full-time Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) student who and can demonstrate artistic merit and disadvantage, this scholarship could provide you with financial assistance.


To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • be an Australia citizen, Australian permanent resident or an international student who has resided in Australia for at least two years
  • be enrolled full-time in the standard semester 1 and 2 in your second or third year of the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) at RMIT in 2018
  • be able to demonstrate financial and/or educational disadvantage such as:
  • receiving a Government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card
  • having a long term medical condition or disability which impacts your study
  • experiencing difficult family circumstances
  • have relocated from interstate or rural/regional Victoria to study at RMIT
  • were born overseas, are from a non-English speaking background and recently migrated to Australia
  • are a current or former refugee
  • completed your secondary education at a School Network Access Program school.
  • be able to submit a selection of five examples of your own original artistic work.

The aim of the scholarship is to attract high achieving students to study across the full range of programs offered at the Central Coast campus of the University of Newcastle. Fifteen (15) scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Applicable to: Ourimbah, Central Coast, high achievers, ATAR, first year, 1st year.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled in any program at the University of Newcastle, Central Coast Campus as a commencing student in their first undergraduate degree.
