University of Calcutta (CU), Kolkata has welcomed applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Economics for the academic session 2016-17. All interested candidates are able to apply before 16th August.

Educational qualification:

All interested candidate must have acquired a Master of Arts(MA) degree from a well known university/institute.

Selection procedure:

The selection of candidate will be based on Research Entrance Test (RET) followed by personal interview.

Important dates:

Last Date of application submission: 16th August

Date of RET Examination: 18th August

Date of interview: 29th August and 30th August

This fund, a gift to Memorial University of Newfoundland by Halliburton Energy Services via The Opportunity Fund campaign, will provide a scholarship valued at approximately $1,500.00 annually. It will be awarded on the basis of scholarship standing to a student in academic terms 5 or 6 of the Mechanical Engineering Program at Memorial University of Newfoundland. The scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards on the recommendation of the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
