NEET Results 2016: Declared

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the combined results of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2016 on, aipmt.nic.in.

This year, Het Shah has topped the examination by securing 685 marks took after by Ekansh Goyal with 682 marks and Nikhil Bajiya gained 678 marks.

NEET Phase I was held at 1,040 centres in 52 cities all over India as well as abroad, whereas NEET II was held at 739 centres in 56 cities in India.

 

How to check the results?

  • Go to the official site of NEET
  • Click on the link, 'NEET Phase II Results 2016'
  • Enter the details and submit
  • The results will be appeared on the screen
  • Take a printout for the same for future reference of candidates’ result.

The result of NEET - UG 2016 has been released on the basis of the qualifying criteria recommended by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India also based on the data submitted by the applicants in their online forms. The qualified candidates need to further complete the formalities and admission with the Counselling Authorities viz DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutes and Universities etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.

A scholarship valued at $500 will be awarded to an Aboriginal resident of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Faculty of Business Administration. Eligible students must be in scholarship standing, be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland and provide confirmation of their Aboriginal status. In the case of undergraduate students, the scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards upon recommendation from the Dean, Faculty of Business Administration. In the case of graduate students, the scholarship will be awarded by the Dean of Graduate Studies upon the recommendation from the Dean, Faculty of Business Administration.
